The Senate met in regular session at 9:30 a.m., President Kramer
presiding.

Prayer was offered by the Honorable Ken Veenstra, member of the
Senate from Sioux County, Orange City, Iowa.

The Journal of Wednesday, January 23, 2002, was approved.

COMMITTEE CHANGE

Senator Iverson announced that Senator Angelo would replace
Senator Johnson on the Administrative Rules Review Committee.

RECESS

On motion of Senator Iverson, the Senate recessed at 9:44 a.m.
until 10:30 a.m.
