The bill having received a constitutional majority was declared to
have passed the House and the title was agreed to.

SENATE AMENDMENT CONSIDERED

Gipp of Winneshiek called up for consideration House File 2612,
a bill for an act relating to and making transportation and other
infrastructure-related appropriations to the state department of
transportation, including allocation and use of moneys from the road
use tax fund, primary road fund, and general fund of the state, and
providing for the nonreversion of certain moneys, amended by the
Senate, and moved that the House concur in the following Senate
amendment H-8581:

1 Amend House File 2612, as amended, passed, and
2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
3 1. Page 5, by inserting after line 21 the
4 following:
5 "Sec. ___. EFFECTIVE DATE. The section of this
6 Act amending section 312.2, subsection 14, takes
7 effect July 1, 2003."
8 2. Title page, line 6, by inserting after the
9 word "moneys" the following: "and including an
10 effective date".
11 3. By renumbering as necessary.

The motion prevailed and the House concurred in the Senate
amendment H-8581.

Gipp of Winneshiek moved that the bill, as amended by the Senate
and concurred in by the House, be read a last time now and placed
upon its passage which motion prevailed and the bill was read a last
time.
