ADOPTION OF HOUSE RESOLUTION 123
Greimann of Story, D. Taylor of Linn and Finch of Story called up
for consideration House Resolution 123, a resolution honoring Cael
Sanderson on his athletic achievements as a wrestler, and moved its
adoption.
The motion prevailed and the resolution was adopted.
Mr. Sanderson thanked the House for the honor and was thankful
for all his time spent in Iowa and appreciated all the support his team
has been given.
The House rose and expressed its welcome.
The House stood at ease at 1:24 p.m., until the fall of the gavel.
The House resumed session at 2:48 p.m., Speaker pro tempore
Sukup in the chair.
QUORUM CALL
A non-record roll call was requested to determine that a quorum
was present. The vote revealed seventy-five members present,
twenty-five absent.
ADOPTION OF HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 123
Jacobs of Polk called up for consideration House Concurrent
Resolution 123, a concurrent resolution requesting the governor to
appoint a blue ribbon committee to make recommendations regarding
the child welfare, child mental health, and juvenile justice systems in
the state of Iowa, and moved its adoption.
The motion prevailed and the resolution was adopted.
