LEAVE OF ABSENCE Leave of absence was granted as follows: Senator Shearer, until he returns, on request of Senator Flynn. CONFIRMATION OF GOVERNOR'S APPOINTMENT (Individual Confirmation Calendar) Senator Iverson called up the appointment of Timothy Tutt, as a member of the Iowa State Civil Rights Commission, placed on the Individual Confirmation Calendar on April 2, 2001, and found on page 947 of the Senate Journal. Senator Iverson moved that the foregoing appointment be confirmed by the Senate.
