  Senators Hammond and Kibbie asked and received unanimous
  consent to withdraw their motions to reconsider the vote by which the
  confirmation of Allan Thoms was approved by the Senate on April 2,
  2001.

  CONFIRMATION OF GOVERNOR'S APPOINTMENTS
  (Individual Confirmation Calendar)

  Senator Iverson called up the appointment of Lisa Davis Cook, as
  a member of the Environmental Protection Commission, placed on
  the Individual Confirmation Calendar on March 22, 2001, and found
  on page 781 of the Senate Journal.

  Senator Iverson moved that the foregoing appointment be
  confirmed by the Senate.

  On the question "Shall the appointee be confirmed?" the vote was:
