  Senator Iverson called up the appointment of Allan Thoms, as a
  member of the Utilities Board, placed on the Individual Confirmation
  Calendar on April 2, 2001, and found on page 928 of the Senate
  Journal.

  Senator Gronstal asked and received unanimous consent that
  action on the appointment of Allan Thoms be deferred.
