  The Senate met in regular session at 9:07 a.m., President Kramer
  presiding.

  Prayer was offered by the Reverend Gundar Lamberts, pastor of
  the First Baptist Church in Harlan, Iowa, guest of Senator Boettger.

  RECESS

  On motion of Senator Iverson, the Senate recessed at 9:15 a.m.
  until 3:00 p.m.
