  The Senate met in regular session at 9:02 a.m., President Pro
  Tempore McKean presiding.

  Prayer was offered by the Reverend Ron Bryan, pastor of the
  Le Grand Friends Church in Le Grand, Iowa, guest of Senator
  McKibben.

  The Journal of Monday, January 22, 2001, was approved.

  ADJOURNMENT

  On motion of Senator Iverson, the Senate adjourned at 9:17 a.m.
  until 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2001.
