House File 77, a bill for an act relating to presidential electors'
compensation, with report of committee recommending amendment
and passage, was taken up for consideration.

Gipp of Winneshiek offered amendment H-1079 filed by the
committee on state government as follows:

1 Amend House File 77 as follows:
2 1. Page 1, line 6, by striking the word and
3 figure "subsection 5" and inserting the following:
4 "subsection 1 for members of the general assembly from
5 Polk county".

The committee amendment H-1079 was adopted.
