On motion by Huser of Polk amendment H-1157, as amended, was
adopted.
Hatch of Polk offered the following amendment H-1069 filed by
him and moved its adoption:

1 Amend House File 324 as follows:
2 1. By striking page 2, line 13, through page 3,
3 line 22.
4 2. By renumbering, redesignating, and correcting
5 internal references as necessary.
A non-record roll call was requested.
The ayes were 33, nays 48.
Amendment H-1069 lost.
Rants of Woodbury asked and received unanimous consent that
House File 324 be deferred and that the bill retain its place on the
calendar.
On motion by Rants of Woodbury, the House was recessed at 2:17
p.m., until 5:00 p.m.
EVENING SESSION
The House reconvened at 5:03 p.m., Speaker pro tempore Sukup in
the chair.
