SPECIAL PRESENTATION
Witt of Black Hawk introduced to the House, Peace Corps
volunteers. He presented a certificate to the volunteers for their
service.
The House rose and expressed its welcome.
RULE 57 SUSPENDED
Rants of Woodbury asked and received unanimous consent to
suspend Rule 57, relating to committee notice and agenda for a
meeting of the committee on judiciary upon recess to discuss Senate
File 258.
On motion by Rants of Woodbury, the House was recessed at 9:07
a.m., until 11:30 a.m.

The House reconvened at 11:31 a.m., Speaker Siegrist in the chair.
INTRODUCTION OF BILLS
House File 463, by Warnstadt, a bill for an act establishing a
teacher scarcity loan reduction program and teacher scarcity loan

telephone rebate funds and creating a commission to approve fund
disbursements.
