1 4 RELATING TO THE ALLOCATION OF PROGRAM JOB CREDITS TO PROGRAM
1 5 COSTS UNDER THE ACCELERATED CAREER EDUCATION PROGRAM AND
1 6 PROVIDING EFFECTIVE AND RETROACTIVE APPLICABILITY DATES.

1 8 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:

1 10 Section 1. Section 260G.4A, Code 2001, is amended by
1 11 adding the following new subsection:
1 12 NEW SUBSECTION. 6. Pursuant to an agreement or a
1 13 statement of intent to enter into an agreement dated on or
1 14 after July 1, 2000, program job credits may be allocated
1 15 retroactively to program costs incurred on or after July 1,
1 16 2000.
1 17 Sec. 2. EFFECTIVE DATE – RETROACTIVE APPLICABILITY. This
1 18 Act, being deemed of immediate importance, takes effect upon
1 19 enactment and is retroactively applicable to July 1, 2000, and
1 20 is applicable on and after that date.
