  1  3    #1.  By striking page 1, line 29 through page 2,
  1  4 line 7.
  1  5    #2.  By striking page 54, line 34 through page 55,
  1  6 line 2, and inserting the following:
  1  7    "Sec.    .  EFFECTIVE AND APPLICABILITY DATE.  This
  1  8 Act takes effect January 1, 2003, and applies to
  1  9 elections held on or after that date."
  1 10    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
