1 1 Amend House File 2559, as passed by the House, as
1 2 follows:
1 3 #1. Page 3, by striking lines 9 through 12, and
1 4 inserting the following:
1 5 "8. Upon the request of the governor or a member
1 6 of the general assembly, the department shall disclose
1 7 child abuse information to the governor, the
1 8 governor's designee, or the member of the general
1 9 assembly relating to a specific case of child abuse
1 10 reported to the department. If more than one member
1 11 of the general assembly has received child abuse
1 12 information relating to a specific case of child abuse
1 13 as authorized under this chapter, those members may
1 14 discuss the information received. The discussion
1 15 shall not be considered to be a redissemination of
1 16 information otherwise prohibited under section 235A.17
1 17 and the discussion shall not be subject to chapter
1 18 21."
