  1  1    Amend the amendment, S-5163, to Senate File 2292,
  1  2 as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 4, by inserting after line 22 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "   .  ALTERNATIVE PROCESS.  Institutions governed
  1  6 under chapter 262 may adopt and use an alternative
  1  7 solicitation, selection, and award process than that
  1  8 set forth in this section provided that the
  1  9 alternative solicitation, selection, and award process
  1 10 is adopted by the governing body of such institutions
  1 11 in administrative rules adopted pursuant to chapter
  1 12 17A or in other published formal documents available
  1 13 to the general public."
