  1  1    Amend House File 2152, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by inserting before line 1, the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Section 1.  Section 100B.11, subsection 3, Code
  1  6 2001, is amended to read as follows:
  1  7    3.  For purposes of this section, "volunteer
  1  8 emergency services provider" means a volunteer fire
  1  9 fighter as defined in section 85.61, or a volunteer
  1 10 emergency medical care provider or volunteer emergency
  1 11 rescue technician defined in section 147A.1 who is not
  1 12 covered as a volunteer emergency services provider
  1 13 under chapter 97A, 97B, or 411, or a reserve peace
  1 14 officer as defined in section 80D.1A."
  1 15    #2.  Title page, by striking lines 1 through 2 and
  1 16 inserting the following:  "An Act concerning the
  1 17 volunteer emergency services provider death benefit by
  1 18 providing for the death benefit for reserve peace
  1 19 officers, eliminating the prospective repeal of the
  1 20 death benefit, and providing an".
  1 21    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
