  1  1    Amend House File 759, as passed by the House, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 2, by inserting after line 31, the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  2001 Iowa Acts, chapter 181, section 4,
  1  6 is amended to read as follows:
  1  7    SEC. 4.  WORK-STUDY APPROPRIATION NULLIFICATION FOR
  1  8 FY 2001-2002.  Notwithstanding section 261.85, for the
  1  9 fiscal year beginning July 1, 2001, and ending June
  1 10 30, 2002, the amount appropriated for the work-study
  1 11 program under section 261.85 shall be zero
  1 12 $1,000,000."
  1 13    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
