  1  1    Amend House File 755, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 9, by inserting after line 21 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  Notwithstanding the requirement in
  1  6 section 9.6, that the secretary of state publish in
  1  7 odd-numbered years the Iowa official register, the
  1  8 secretary of state shall not publish the Iowa official
  1  9 register in the 2001 calendar year.  Any references in
  1 10 the Code to the distribution and contents of the Iowa
  1 11 official register shall not apply to the 2001 and 2002
  1 12 calendar years."
