1 1 Amend Senate File 528, as passed by the Senate, as
1 2 follows:
1 3 #1. Page 5, by inserting after line 23 the
1 4 following:
1 5 "Sec. . There is appropriated from the road use
1 6 tax fund to the department of general services for the
1 7 fiscal year beginning July 1, 2001, and ending June
1 8 30, 2002, the following amount, or so much thereof as
1 9 is necessary, to be used for the purpose designated:
1 10 For planning and design of a state institutional
1 11 road that shall be an extension of Twelfth street
1 12 south of Court avenue, adjacent to the new judicial
1 13 building in Des Moines:
1 14 .................................................. $ 34,000
1 15 Notwithstanding section 8.33, moneys appropriated
1 16 in this section that remain unencumbered or
1 17 unobligated at the close of the fiscal year shall not
1 18 revert but shall remain available for expenditure for
1 19 the purpose designated until the close of the fiscal
1 20 year that begins July 1, 2004.
1 21 For purposes of this section, a "state
1 22 institutional road" is part of the state park, state
1 23 institution, and other state land road system, as
1 24 defined in section 306.3."
1 25 #2. Title page, line 3, by inserting after the
1 26 word "transportation" the following: "and the
1 27 department of general services".
1 28 #3. By renumbering as necessary.
