  2 40    "Sec.    .  PROVIDING LIMITED ALLOCATION REDUCTION
  2 41 AUTHORITY TO THE STATE BOARD OF REGENTS.
  2 42    1.  The board of regents is authorized to
  2 43 redistribute appropriations in section 8, subsection
  2 44 2, paragraphs "a" through "n", and in any
  2 45 appropriations or allocations made for the fiscal year
  2 46 beginning July 1, 2001, and ending June 30, 2002, for
  2 47 purposes of the state university of Iowa research park
  2 48 and the advanced drug development program at the
  2 49 Oakdale research park, in a total amount of
  2 50 $18,807,078.  The redistributions shall be made
  3  1 between the appropriations designated in this
  3  2 subsection.
  3  3    2.  The board of regents is authorized to
  3  4 redistribute appropriations in section 8, subsection
  3  5 3, paragraphs "a" through "e", and in any
  3  6 appropriations or allocations made for the fiscal year
  3  7 beginning July 1, 2001, and ending June 30, 2002, for
  3  8 purposes of funding and maintaining the Iowa state
  3  9 university of science and technology's current
  3 10 locations for the existing small business development
  3 11 centers, for the Iowa state university research park,
  3 12 for the institute for physical research and
  3 13 technology, and for the industrial incentive program
  3 14 in a total amount of $16,109,867.  The redistributions
  3 15 shall be made between the appropriations designated in
  3 16 this subsection.
  3 17    3.  The board of regents is authorized to
  3 18 redistribute appropriations in section 8, subsection
  3 19 4, paragraphs "a" and "b", and in any appropriations
  3 20 or allocations made for the fiscal year beginning July
  3 21 1, 2001, and ending June 30, 2002, for purposes of the
  3 22 metal casting institute and the institute of decision
  3 23 making in a total amount of $5,420,918.  The
  3 24 redistributions shall be made between the
  3 25 appropriations designated in this subsection.
  3 26    Within one day of the effective date of this
  3 27 section of this Act, the board office shall provide
  3 28 the general assembly, the department of management,
  3 29 and the legislative fiscal bureau with a detailed
  3 30 report identifying the redistributions made in
  3 31 accordance with this section."
