  1  2    #1.  Page 2, line 31, by striking the word "GASA"
  1  3 and inserting the following:  "ODCP".
  1  4    #2.  Page 12, by striking lines 6 through 12.
  1  5    #3.  Page 18, by inserting after line 17 the
  1  6 following:
  1  7    "Sec.    .  STATE AGENCY PURCHASES FROM PRISON
  1  8 INDUSTRIES.
  1  9    1.  As used in this section, unless the context
  1 10 otherwise requires, "state agency" means the
  1 11 government of the state of Iowa, including but not
  1 12 limited to all executive branch departments, agencies,
  1 13 boards, bureaus, and commissions, the judicial branch,
  1 14 the general assembly and all legislative agencies,
  1 15 institutions within the purview of the state board of
  1 16 regents, and any corporation whose primary function is
  1 17 to act as an instrumentality of the state.
  1 18    2.  State agencies are hereby encouraged to
  1 19 purchase products from Iowa state industries, as
  1 20 defined in section 904.802, when purchases are
  1 21 required and the products are available from Iowa
  1 22 state industries.
  1 23    3.  State agencies shall submit to the legislative
  1 24 fiscal bureau by January 15, 2002, a report of the
  1 25 dollar value of products and services purchased from
  1 26 Iowa state industries by the state agency during the
  1 27 fiscal year beginning July 1, 2000, and ending June
  1 28 30, 2001."
  1 29    #4.  Page 21, by striking lines 18 through 22 and
  1 30 inserting the following:  "Of the full-time equivalent
  1 31 positions authorized in this subsection, the division
  1 32 of criminal investigation may use 2.00 FTEs for the
  1 33 establishment of an elderly crime unit if federal
  1 34 funding is obtained.  If federal funding is obtained
  1 35 and subsequently discontinued, the 2.00 FTEs shall be
  1 36 eliminated."
  1 37    #5.  Page 26, line 34, by striking the word
  1 38 "costs." and inserting the following:  "support
  1 39 personnel costs as defined in the United States
  1 40 marshal's service cost sheet for detention services."
  1 41    #6.  Page 27, line 2, by striking the word
  1 42 "voucher" and inserting the following:  "voucher
  1 43 United States marshal's service cost sheet".
  1 44    #7.  Page 27, by striking lines 4 through 23.
  1 45    #8.  Page 28, line 1, by striking the word "costs."
  1 46 and inserting the following:  "support personnel costs
