  1  1    Amend Senate File 349 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 3, by inserting after line 24, the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  Section 68B.35, Code 2001, is amended
  1  5 by adding the following new subsection:
  1  6    NEW SUBSECTION.  6.  The board, the chief clerk of
  1  7 the house, and the secretary of the senate shall each
  1  8 respectively provide public access to the personal
  1  9 financial disclosure statements on file in its
  1 10 respective office, and shall allow for the making of
  1 11 copies and the payment of a reasonable fee, according
  1 12 to the provisions of chapter 22.
  1 13    Sec.    .  Section 68B.35A, Code 2001, is amended
  1 14 by striking the section and inserting in lieu thereof
  1 15 the following:
  1 16    68B.35A  PERSONAL FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE STATEMENTS
  1 17 OF STATE OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES – PUBLIC ACCESS.
  1 18    A paper or electronic copy of each personal
  1 19 financial disclosure statement filed with the board,
  1 20 the chief clerk of the house, or the secretary of the
  1 21 senate, respectively, pursuant to the provisions of
  1 22 section 68B.35, shall be forwarded to the secretary of
  1 23 state for the publishing of the information by
  1 24 electronic means."
  1 25    #2.  Title page, lines 1 and 2, by striking the
  1 26 words "information concerning contested case
  1 27 proceedings of the ethics and campaign disclosure
  1 28 board" and inserting the following:  "certain filings
  1 29 relating to executive and legislative ethics".
  1 30    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
