PAG LIN 1 1 Section 1. Section 232.99, subsection 3, Code 2001, is 1 2 amended to read as follows: 1 3 3. In the initial dispositional hearing, any hearing held 1 4 under section 232.103, and any dispositional review or 1 5 permanency hearing, the court shall inquire of the parties as 1 6 to the sufficiency of the services being provided and whether 1 7 additional services are needed to facilitate the safe return 1 8 of the child to the child's home. If the court determines 1 9 such services are needed, the court shall order the services 1 10 to be provided. The court shall advise the parties in person 1 11 that failure to identify a deficiency in services or to 1 12 request additional services may preclude the party from 1 13 challenging the sufficiency of the services in a termination 1 14 of parent-child relationship proceeding. 1 15 Sec. 2. Section 232.101, Code 2001, is amended by adding 1 16 the following new subsection: 1 17 NEW SUBSECTION. 3.
