1 1 Section 1. BROWNFIELD REDEVELOPMENT FUND. There is
1 2 appropriated from the environment first fund created in
1 3 section 8.57A to the department of economic development for
1 4 the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2002, and ending June 30,
1 5 2003, the following amount, or so much thereof as is
1 6 necessary, to be used for the purpose designated:
1 7 For deposit in the brownfield redevelopment fund created in
1 8 section 15.293:
1 9 .................................................. $ 5,000,000
1 10 EXPLANATION
1 11 This bill appropriates $5 million from the environment
1 12 first fund to the department of economic development for
1 13 deposit in the brownfield redevelopment fund which is used to
1 14 provide grants, loans, forgivable loans, loan guarantees, and
1 15 other forms of assistance under the brownfield redevelopment
1 16 program.
