1 1 Section 1. Section 331.301, Code Supplement 2001, is
1 2 amended by adding the following new subsection:
1 3 NEW SUBSECTION. 16. A county may adopt and enforce an
1 4 ordinance prohibiting the sale of paintball guns to persons
1 5 who are less than twenty-one years of age.
1 6 Sec. 2. Section 364.3, Code Supplement 2001, is amended by
1 7 adding the following new subsection:
1 8 NEW SUBSECTION. 10. A city may adopt and enforce an
1 9 ordinance prohibiting the sale of paintball guns to persons
1 10 who are less than twenty-one years of age.
1 11 EXPLANATION
1 12 This bill provides that a city or county may adopt and
1 13 enforce an ordinance prohibiting the sale of paintball guns to
1 14 persons who are less than 21 years of age.
