  1  1    Section 1.  Section 598.41, Code 2001, is amended by adding
  1  2 the following new subsection:
  1  3    NEW SUBSECTION.  9.  In determining the award of visitation
  1  4 rights to a parent, the court may consider the history of
  1  5 noncompliance of the parent with a child support order.  
  1  6                           EXPLANATION
  1  7    This bill establishes that in the awarding of visitation
  1  8 rights to a parent, the court may consider the parent's
  1  9 history of noncompliance with a child support order.
