1 1 Section 1. Section 256.7, Code 2001, is amended by adding
1 2 the following new subsection:
1 3 NEW SUBSECTION. 25. Adopt rules that require school
1 4 districts to provide applications for the healthy and well
1 5 kids in Iowa program to all students from kindergarten level
1 6 to grade twelve. The forms shall be provided by the healthy
1 7 and well kids in Iowa program pursuant to section 514I.7,
1 8 subsection 2, paragraph "h".
1 9 EXPLANATION
1 10 This bill requires the state board of education to adopt
1 11 rules to require all school districts to provide application
1 12 forms for the healthy and well kids in Iowa program to all
1 13 students in grades kindergarten through grade 12. The
1 14 administrative contractor of the program is currently required
1 15 to provide the forms to all schools.
