  1  1    Amend House File 2623 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 4, line 3, by inserting before the word
  1  3 "shall" the following:  "plus needed supplemental
  1  4 funds appropriated in section 5A,".
  1  5    #2.  Page 4, line 20, by inserting before the word
  1  6 "shall" the following:  "plus needed supplemental
  1  7 funds appropriated in section 5A,".
  1  8    #3.  Page 6, by inserting after line 10 the
  1  9 following:
  1 10    "Sec. 5A.  OTHER FUNDS.
  1 11    1.  ECONOMIC EMERGENCY FUND APPROPRIATION.  There
  1 12 is appropriated from the Iowa economic emergency fund
  1 13 created in section 8.55 to the salary adjustment fund
  1 14 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2002, and ending
  1 15 June 30, 2003, the following amount:  
  1 16 .................................................. $  7,000,000
  1 17    Moneys appropriated in this subsection are declared
  1 18 to be appropriated for emergency expenditures as
  1 19 required in section 8.55, subsection 3, paragraph "a".
  1 20    2.  UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK FUND.  Notwithstanding
  1 21 section 455G.3, subsection 1, there is transferred
  1 22 from the Iowa comprehensive petroleum underground
  1 23 storage tank fund created in section 455G.3,
  1 24 subsection 1, to the salary adjustment fund during the
  1 25 fiscal year beginning July 1, 2002, and ending June
  1 26 30, 2003, the following amount:  
  1 27 .................................................. $  7,000,000
  1 28    3.  The moneys appropriated or transferred in
  1 29 subsection 1 or 2 to the salary adjustment fund are
  1 30 appropriated to supplement the appropriation made in
  1 31 section 1, subsection 2, of this division of this
  1 32 Act."
