1 2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
1 3 #1. Page 3, by inserting after line 30 the
1 4 following:
1 5 "__. Provide construction management services for
1 6 a fixed fee as provided in the construction management
1 7 services contract. The construction manager shall
1 8 include the amount of the fixed fee in the proposal
1 9 submitted to the public owner pursuant to this
1 10 section. The proposed fixed fee is subject to
1 11 negotiations between the construction manager and the
1 12 public owner prior to entering into the construction
1 13 management services contract. A fee charged for
1 14 construction management services shall not be based on
1 15 the total cost of the public works project or based on
1 16 a percentage of the total cost of the public works
1 17 project."
