  1  1    Amend Senate File 2326, as passed by the Senate, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 47, by inserting after line 17, the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  ECONOMIC EMERGENCY FUND APPROPRIATION.
  1  6 There is appropriated from the Iowa economic emergency
  1  7 fund created in section 8.55 to the general fund of
  1  8 the state for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2002,
  1  9 and ending June 30, 2003, the following amount:  
  1 10 .................................................. $ 55,429,400
  1 11    Moneys appropriated in this section are declared to
  1 12 be appropriated for emergency expenditures as required
  1 13 in section 8.55, subsection 3, paragraph "a"."
  1 14    #2.  Page 58, line 33, by striking the figure
  1 15 "7,750,000" and inserting the following:
  1 16 "40,000,000".
  1 17    #3.  Page 59, by inserting after line 5, the
  1 18 following:
  1 19    "   .  SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT TECHNOLOGY BLOCK GRANT
  1 20    For school improvement technology block grants,
  1 21 notwithstanding section 256D.5, subsection 2, Code
  1 22 2001:  
  1 23 .................................................. $  5,729,400"
  1 24    Funds appropriated in this subsection shall
  1 25 supplement, not supplant, funds appropriated for
  1 26 school improvement technology block grants pursuant to
  1 27 2002 Iowa Acts, House File 2614, if enacted, and shall
  1 28 be distributed as provided in 2002 Iowa Acts, House
  1 29 File 2614."
