  1  1    Amend House File 2517 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 2, line 22, by striking the words
  1  3 "designate a school district" and inserting the
  1  4 following:  "upon".
  1  5    #2.  Page 2, by striking lines 26 and 27 and
  1  6 inserting the following:  "designate that a school
  1  7 district be the fiscal agent for an eligible local
  1  8 grant.  Whenever possible, the grant applicant school
  1  9 district shall collaborate with a".
  1 10    #3.  Page 2, by striking lines 30 through 32 and
  1 11 inserting the following:  "establishing a community
  1 12 learning center.  The department shall give priority
  1 13 to applications for programs serving students
  1 14 determined through research-based methods to be in the
  1 15 greatest need of eligible services."
