  1  1    Amend Senate File 2304, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 8, line 16, by inserting after the word
  1  4 "magistrates" the following:  "or other cost
  1  5 reductions".
  1  6    #2.  Page 8, line 19, by striking the word "this".
  1  7    #3.  Page 8, line 26, by inserting after the figure
  1  8 "2002." the following:  "Subsection 2 does not apply
  1  9 to justices, judges, and magistrates subject to this
  1 10 subsection."
  1 11    #4.  Page 8, line 32, by inserting after the figure
  1 12 "1" the following:  "and thereby decrease the
  1 13 application of subsections 2 and 3.  Any such decrease
  1 14 involving employee furloughs and salary reductions
  1 15 shall be applied proportionately between subsections 2
  1 16 and 3".
  1 17    #5.  Page 10, line 23, by inserting after the word
  1 18 "state" the following:  "or other cost reductions".
  1 19    #6.  Page 10, line 33, by inserting after the
  1 20 figure "2002." the following:  "Subsection 2 does not
  1 21 apply to elective executive branch officials subject
