1 2 #1. Page 10, by inserting after line 24, the
1 3 following:
1 4 "Sec. 100. Section 427.1, subsection 19, Code
1 5 2001, as amended by 2001 Iowa Acts, Senate File 514,
1 6 is amended by adding the following new unnumbered
1 7 paragraph:
1 8 NEW UNNUMBERED PARAGRAPH. For purposes of
1 9 establishing the valuation limitation under this
1 10 subsection, if more than one person has an ownership
1 11 interest in the property, the multiple owners shall be
1 12 considered one owner so that the two hundred thousand
1 13 dollar limitation cannot be exceeded as a result of
1 14 multiple ownership. For purposes of applying the
1 15 valuation limitation to multiple properties owned by
1 16 the same person, the two hundred thousand dollar
1 17 limitation shall apply per owner on a statewide
1 18 basis."
1 19 #2. Page 11, by inserting after line 1, the
1 20 following:
1 21 "Sec. . CONTINGENT EFFECTIVE DATE. Section 100
1 22 of this Act shall take effect only if 2001 Iowa Acts,
1 23 Senate File 514 is enacted without adoption of
1 24 amendment H-1883 or, in the alternative, Senate File
1 25 514 is enacted without adoption of H-1914 to amendment
1 26 H-1897 to Senate File 514."
