House Amendment 1904

  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-1823, to House File 745, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 2, by striking lines 6 through 8, and
  1  4 inserting the following:
  1  5    "   .  If the department determines that there is a
  1  6 suspected outbreak of foot and mouth disease in this
  1  7 state, the department shall immediately notify all of
  1  8 the following:
  1  9    a.  The governor or a designee of the governor.
  1 10 The notification shall contain information regarding
  1 11 actions being implemented or recommended in order to
  1 12 determine if the outbreak is genuine and measures to
  1 13 control a genuine outbreak.
  1 14    b.  The administrative unit of the United States
  1 15 department of agriculture responsible for controlling
  1 16 outbreaks in this state."
