  1  1    Amend House File 747 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by inserting before line 1, the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Section 1.  Section 99F.6, Code 2001, is amended
  1  5 by adding the following new subsection:
  1  6    NEW SUBSECTION.  9.  Beginning January 1, 2003, the
  1  7 amount of moneys received annually by a licensee from
  1  8 gambling games receipts at a racetrack enclosure equal
  1  9 to the amount of tax receipts which would have been
  1 10 paid on the adjusted gross receipts pursuant to
  1 11 section 99F.11 at an additional tax rate of two
  1 12 percent for the calendar year 2003 and at an
  1 13 additional tax rate of four percent for the calendar
  1 14 year 2004 and for subsequent calendar years, shall not
  1 15 be used to promote or affect the outcome of a
  1 16 referendum required or authorized under this chapter."
  1 17    #2.  Title page, line 4, by inserting after the
  1 18 word "enclosures" the following:  ", providing for the
  1 19 distribution of certain net gambling receipts,".
  1 20    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
