1 3 #1. Page 13, by inserting before line 33, the
1 4 following:
1 5 " . For purposes of this section and section
1 6 25B.2, subsection 3, it shall be considered an
1 7 imposition of a state mandate if the maximum property
1 8 tax dollars limitation impairs the ability of a county
1 9 to levy property taxes to contribute matching funds in
1 10 order to receive federal funding. If the state does
1 11 not appropriate the necessary matching funds, property
1 12 taxes levied by the county to provide matching funds
1 13 shall not be counted against the maximum amount of
1 14 property tax dollars that may be certified for a
1 15 fiscal year under subsection 3."
1 16 #2. By renumbering, redesignating, and correcting
1 17 internal references as necessary.
