  1  1    Amend House File 747 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 17, the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  Section 99F.6, Code 2001, is amended by
  1  5 adding the following new subsection:
  1  6    NEW SECTION.  9.  In addition to the contributions
  1  7 required pursuant to subsection 4, paragraph "a",
  1  8 beginning January 1, 2003, the amount of money
  1  9 received annually by a licensee from gambling game
  1 10 receipts at a racetrack enclosure equal to the amount
  1 11 of tax receipts which would have been paid on the
  1 12 adjusted gross receipts pursuant to section 99F.11 at
  1 13 an additional tax rate of two percent for the calendar
  1 14 year 2003 and at an additional tax rate of four
  1 15 percent for the calendar year 2004 and for subsequent
  1 16 calendar years, shall be distributed solely for
  1 17 charitable uses."
  1 18    #2.  Title page, line 4, by inserting after the
  1 19 word "enclosures" the following:  ", providing for the
  1 20 distribution of certain net gambling receipts,".
  1 21    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
