  1  1    Amend House File 716 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 3, by inserting after line 21, the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  Section 423.24, subsection 1, paragraph
  1  5 b, Code 2001, is amended to read as follows:
  1  6    b.  Any Of such revenues remaining shall be amounts
  1  7 shall be credited to the general fund of the state and
  1  8 the road use tax fund as follows:
  1  9    (1)  The general fund of the state shall be
  1 10 credited with an amount required in order to reimburse
  1 11 the general fund of the state for the reduction of
  1 12 revenues attributed to persons claiming an ethanol
  1 13 blended gasoline tax credit under sections 422.11C and
  1 14 422.33, as provided by the department.
  1 15    (2)  The road use tax fund shall be credited with
  1 16 any remaining amount."
  1 17    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
