  1  1    Amend House File 725 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 11, by inserting after line 24, the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  Section 455C.2, subsection 2, Code
  1  5 2001, is amended to read as follows:
  1  6    2.  In addition to the refund value provided in
  1  7 subsection 1 of this section, a dealer, or person
  1  8 operating a redemption center who redeems empty
  1  9 beverage containers or a dealer agent shall be
  1 10 reimbursed by the distributor required to accept the
  1 11 empty beverage containers an amount which is one cent
  1 12 two cents per container.  A dealer, dealer agent, or
  1 13 person operating a redemption center may compact empty
  1 14 metal beverage containers with the approval of the
  1 15 distributor required to accept the containers."
  1 16    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
