  1  1    Amend House File 718 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 14, line 1, by striking the words "Iowa
  1  3 finance authority" and inserting the following:
  1  4 "general fund of the state".
  1  5    #2.  Page 14, by striking lines 12 through 17, and
  1  6 inserting the following:
  1  7    "Sec. ___.  COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
  1  8 ACCOUNT.  There is appropriated from the general fund
  1  9 of the state to the department of economic development
  1 10 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2001, and ending
  1 11 June 30, 2002, the following amount, or so much
  1 12 thereof as is necessary, to be used for the purpose
  1 13 designated:
  1 14    For deposit in the community development block
  1 15 grant account to be used as state matching funds for
  1 16 the federal HOME program:  
  1 17 .................................................. $  1,200,000"
  1 18    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
