  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-1444, to Senate File 342, as
  1  2 passed by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 3 through 50, and
  1  4 inserting the following:
  1  5    "#   .  Page 1, by striking lines 3 through 7, and
  1  6 inserting the following:
  1  7    "A precinct election official may require of the
  1  8 voter unknown to the official, identification upon
  1  9 which the voter's signature or mark appears.  If
  1 10 identification is established to the satisfaction of
  1 11 the precinct election officials, the person may shall
  1 12 then be allowed to vote.""
