  1  1    Amend House File 696 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  By striking everything after the enacting
  1  3 clause and inserting the following:
  1  4    "Section 1.   Section 96.7, subsection 12,
  1  5 paragraph d, Code 2001, is amended to read as follows:
  1  6    d.  This subsection is repealed July 1, 2001 2004,
  1  7 and the repeal is applicable to contribution rates for
  1  8 calendar year 2002 2005 and subsequent calendar years.
  1  9    Sec. 2.  EFFECTIVE DATE.  This Act, being deemed of
  1 10 immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment."
