  1  1    Amend House File 670 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 15 and 16 and
  1  3 inserting the following:  "education theory,
  1  4 instructional methods, and classroom management.  The
  1  5 program for students who wish to be licensed as
  1  6 conditional or provisional teachers shall, in addition
  1  7 to the coursework requirements, include a twelve-week
  1  8 student teaching field experience that includes both
  1  9 observation and participation in teaching activities
  1 10 in a variety of school settings.  The program course
  1 11 work shall consist of two".
  1 12    #2.  Page 1, lines 19 and 20, by striking the words
  1 13 "paragraphs "a" and "b"" and inserting the following:
  1 14 "paragraph "a"".
  1 15    #3.  Page 1, line 21, by striking the word
  1 16 "provisional" and inserting the following:
  1 17 "conditional".
  1 18    #4.  Page 2, by striking lines 19 through 21 and
  1 19 inserting the following:  "training program, and a
  1 20 nontraditional practitioner preparation instruction
  1 21 program in accordance with section 256.16, subsection
  1 22 3.  An individual may be".
  1 23    #5.  Page 2, line 25, by striking the word "twelve-

  1 26 week,".
