  1  1    Amend House File 670 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, line 16, by striking the word "and
  1  3 practice teaching." and inserting the following:
  1  4 "brain-based research, lesson design, learning styles
  1  5 of students, best teaching practices, human relations,
  1  6 technology integration, conflict resolution, and shall
  1  7 meet the requirements of section 272.25, subsection 3.
  1  8 The program for students who wish to be licensed as
  1  9 conditional teachers shall, in addition to the
  1 10 coursework requirements, include a twelve-week student
  1 11 teaching field experience that includes both
  1 12 observation and participation in teaching activities
  1 13 in a variety of school settings."
  1 14    #2.  Page 1, line 16, by inserting before the words
  1 15 "shall consist" the following:  "coursework".
