PAG LIN 1 1 Amend House File 618 as follows: 1 2 #1. Page 1, by inserting after line 19 the 1 3 following: 1 4 "Sec. . Section 481A.68, subsection 2, Code 1 5 2001, is amended to read as follows: 1 6 2. A person shall not use more than three tip-up 1 7 fishing devices for fishing in the waters of the 1 8 Mississippi river, the Missouri river, and the Big 1 9 Sioux river, anditstheir connectedbackwater1 10 backwaters. A person may use two or three hooks on 1 11 the same line, but the total number of hooks used by 1 12 each person shall not exceed three. Each tip-up 1 13 fishing device used in fishing shall have attached a 1 14 tag plainly labeled with the owner's name and address. 1 15 A person shall not use a tip-up fishing device for 1 16 fishing within three hundred feet of a dam or spillway 1 17 or in a part of the river which is closed or posted 1 18 against use of the device. Three tip-up fishing 1 19 devices may be used in addition to the two lines with 1 20 no more than two hooks per line, as specified in 1 21 section 481A.72." 1 22 #2.
