  1  1    Amend House File 294 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 6 through 8 and
  1  3 inserting the following:  "subdistrict.
  1  4 Notwithstanding any contrary provision of the Code, a
  1  5 member of the board of directors of a school district
  1  6 shall not receive compensation directly from the
  1  7 school board unless the compensation is for part-time
  1  8 or temporary employment and does not exceed the
  1  9 limitation set forth in section 279.7A."
  1 10    #2.  Page 1, by striking lines 19 and 20 and
  1 11 inserting the following:  "the purchase of goods or
  1 12 services which benefit a director, or to compensation
  1 13 for part-time or temporary employment which benefits a
  1 14 director, if the benefit".
