HOUSE MESSAGES RECEIVED The following messages were received from the Chief Clerk of the House: MADAM PRESIDENT: I am directed to inform your honorable body that the House has on April 17, 2000, amended and passed the following bill in which the concurrence of the Senate is asked: Senate File 2241, a bill for an act relating to the consolidation of certain criminal offenses concerning computer access, damage, or theft, video rental theft, election bribery, and voting duress.(S-5562) ALSO: That the House has on April, 20, 2000, passed the following bill in which the concurrence of the Senate is asked: House File 2560, a bill for an act providing an individual and corporate income tax credit for the rehabilitation of certain eligible commercial and residential property and barns. Read first time and referred to committee on Ways and Means. ALSO: That the House has on April 24, 2000, passed the following bill in which the concurrence of the Senate is asked: House File 2581, a bill for an act relating to the authorization of the Iowa higher education loan authority to make loans and issue obligations to make loans to entities other than educational institutions, and to finance projects to be leased to educational institutions, and providing that the obligations and income from obligations are exempt from taxation.
