  Senator Lamberti asked and received unanimous consent to
  withdraw amendment S-5435, filed by him on April 17, 2000, to
  pages 1, 7, and 8 of the bill.

  Senator Connolly offered amendment S-5490, filed by him on
  April 18, 2000, to page 1 of the bill and moved its adoption.

  A record roll call was requested.
