  INTRODUCTION OF RESOLUTIONS

  Senate Concurrent Resolution 116, by Dvorsky and Bolkcom, a
  concurrent resolution urging the Governor to appoint a commission to
  develop design proposals for Iowa's participation in the United States
  Mint's 50 state quarters program and to direct the commission to
  develop designs incorporating the Old Capitol as a symbol for the
  state.

  Read first time under Rule 28 and referred to committee on Rules
  and Administration.

  Senate Joint Resolution 2006, by committee on Ways and
  Means, a joint resolution proposing an amendment to the
  Constitution of the State of Iowa relating to the power of the people
  to affirm or reject Acts of the General Assembly relating to the
  individual income tax or sales or use tax.

  Read first time under Rule 28 and placed on Ways and Means
  calendar.

  Senate Resolution 118, by Rehberg and Kibbie, a resolution
  congratulating members of the All-Iowa Community College
  Academic Team.
