IMMEDIATELY MESSAGED Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent that Senate Files 2144, 2299, 2327, and 2365 be immediately messaged to the House. President Kramer took the chair at 10:21 p.m. BUSINESS PENDING Senate File 2267 The Senate resumed consideration of Senate File 2267, a bill for an act requiring the board of directors of a school district to adopt a contract with parents as part of a student promotion policy for grade three level students and providing for related matters, previously deferred. Senator Connolly offered amendment S-5149, filed by him from the floor striking everything after the enacting clause and to the title page of the bill. Senator Angelo raised the point of order that amendment S-5149 was not germane to the bill. Senator Angelo asked and received unanimous consent to withdraw his question of germaneness. Senator Connolly moved the adoption of amendment S-5149.
